Bahamas

We made it! We are finally out of the US. We crossed the Gulf Stream last night in 15-20knot winds and seas of 2-4 ft. We are at a gas dock now stealing internet so although this is short I'll be sure to write up more in the future.

It must have been nice to finally, I assume, do some extended sailing instead of all the motoring on the ICW. I've enjoyed following along with your blog. Meanwhile, while you are soon to celebrate Christmas in the sun and warm temps, I am waiting for some winter to come. There has been vitually no snow and the temps are unusually mild. Seems like global warming on steroids. Time for some skiing! We're planning our usual winter backpacking trip and I'm wondering about bringing my swimsuit. Keep up the reports! Bob Brand

Um, enough about the speed of the winds...what is going on with your hair? I thought dan's attempt at a mustache was bad until I saw what appears to be muttonchops on Scott. You'll never get any ladies that way.
