Tartan 37

Well, our trip is starting to take shape. Most importantly we now have a boat. kaleidoscope is a 1982 Tartan 37'. Although we looked at over 14 boats in search of a boat, the moment we stepped foot on board kaleidoscope we all knew this was the perfect boat for our voyage.

In other news we just returned from the Newport boat show with some novel ideas about our voyage, as well as a fluorescent rain coat.

what's next?
Well at the time of posting we have not yet conducted a survey of the boat (it may actually not float). We also need to purchase a dinghy. Let the outfitting begin!
